Job Description
As a Fire Insulation Installer, you will work with fire-rated insulation of ventilation and HVAC systems on residential, commercial and industrial projects in Denmark. The work includes installation of wire mat and glass wool lamella systems according to fire drawings, tolerances and Danish standards.
Main tasks:
- Installation of fire insulation on ventilation ducts and HVAC systems using wire mat and Rockwool lamella
- Measuring, cutting and fitting wire mat around round and rectangular ducts
- Fixing wire mat using pins, steel wire and mechanical fasteners
- Installing glass wool lamella boards on ducts, shafts and fire-rated areas
- Bonding, sealing and finishing lamella systems according to fire specifications
- Working from technical fire drawings, EI zones and installation instructions
- Using hand and power tools for cutting, fixing and installing insulation materials
- Ensuring correct overlaps, joints and penetrations are sealed and fire-safe
- Reporting completed work, deviations or issues to the site manager or coordinator (email or site documentation)
- Maintaining fire safety, installation quality and system integrity
- Following site safety regulations, fire protection standards and Danish working procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- Only EU workers or candidates with valid EU work permits
- Proven experience with fire insulation of ventilation and HVAC systems (wire mat and lamella)
- Solid practical skills with measuring, cutting, wrapping and fixing fire-rated insulation materials
- Experience with installation of wire mat systems and glass wool lamella boards on ducts and shafts
- Ability to read and follow basic fire drawings, measurements and installation instructions
- Serious, reliable and safety-conscious workers with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and also function well in a team
- Good English communication skills (other languages are a plus)
- Category B driving licence is an advantage
