Job description
As a Welder, you will work with welding and assembly of metal components on residential, commercial and industrial construction projects in Denmark. The work includes fabrication, installation and repair tasks according to drawings, tolerances and Danish standards.
Main tasks:
- Welding metal components using relevant methods (e.g., MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA) depending on the project
- Reading and working from technical drawings, welding symbols and specifications
- Preparing materials: measuring, cutting, grinding, beveling and fitting parts before welding
- Assembling components with correct alignment and tolerances before and after welding
- Performing visual checks and basic quality control of welds (shape, penetration, defects)
- Rework and repair of welds when required
- Handling and maintaining welding equipment and consumables responsibly
- Reporting completed work, deviations or issues to the site manager or coordinator (email or site documentation)
- Working according to welding procedures (WPS), instructions and project documentation
- Following safety rules for hot work, PPE requirements and Danish site procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- Only EU workers or candidates with valid EU work permits
- Proven experience as a welder on construction or industrial projects
- Practical experience with MIG/MAG, TIG or MMA welding depending on profile
- Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings and welding symbols
- Experience with preparation of materials: cutting, grinding and fitting
- Understanding of welding quality requirements and basic inspection
- Serious, reliable and safety-conscious workers with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and as part of a team on site or in workshops
- Good English communication skills (other languages are a plus)
- Valid welding certificates are an advantage
