Job Description
As a Carpenter, you will work with construction and installation of wooden structures on residential, commercial and industrial projects in Denmark. The work includes both rough and finish carpentry tasks according to drawings, tolerances and Danish standards.
Main tasks:
- Construction and installation of wooden structures and building elements
- Rough carpentry: framing, formwork and structural timber work
- Finish carpentry: installation of doors, windows, floors and interior elements
- Measuring, cutting and assembling materials accurately according to specifications
- Working from technical drawings, plans and installation instructions
- Use of hand and power tools for carpentry and general construction work
- Adjustment, repair and renovation of existing structures and elements
- Reporting completed work, deviations or issues to the site manager or coordinator (email or site documentation)
- Maintaining quality and tolerances required for installation and finishing
- Following site safety regulations, quality standards and Danish working procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- Only EU workers or candidates with valid EU work permits
- Proven experience as a carpenter (general carpentry, rough/structural or finish/interior work)
- Solid practical skills with hand and power tools, measurements, cutting and installation on construction or renovation projects
- Experience with installation of doors, windows, floors and/or structural elements depending on specialization
- Ability to read and follow basic technical drawings, measurements and instructions
- Serious, reliable and safety-conscious workers with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and still function well in a team
- Good English communication skills (other languages are a plus)
- Category B driving licence is an advantage
