Job description
As a Passive Fire Protection (PFP) Worker, you will work with fire sealing and fire stopping installations on residential, commercial and industrial projects in Denmark. The work includes sealing penetrations and installing fire-rated systems according to fire safety documentation and Danish standards.
Main tasks:
- Installation of fire stopping systems in walls, floors and ceilings
- Sealing penetrations for pipes, cables and ventilation with approved fire-rated materials
- Installation of fire-rated boards, collars, wraps and sealants depending on the system
- Working according to fire safety drawings, documentation and system approvals
- Ensuring correct labeling and documentation of completed fire sealing areas when required
- Quality control: checking completeness, coverage and correct installation methods
- Repair and upgrading of existing fire seals during renovation projects
- Reporting completed work, deviations or issues to the site manager or coordinator (email or site documentation)
- Working according to instructions, product approvals and project documentation
- Following site safety regulations, quality standards and Danish working procedures
Who We Are Looking For
- Only EU workers or candidates with valid EU work permits
- Proven experience with passive fire protection or fire sealing work
- Practical experience sealing penetrations for pipes, cables and ventilation
- Experience with fire-rated systems, materials and installation methods
- Ability to read and follow fire safety drawings and documentation
- Understanding of quality and compliance requirements for fire protection
- Serious, reliable and safety-conscious workers with a strong work ethic
- Able to work independently and function well in a team environment
- Good English communication skills (other languages are a plus)
- Relevant fire protection training is an advantage
